Vision Statement


 

The community of St. Mary’s shares in the mission of the Catholic Church to spread the love of Jesus and the Word of God.

 

Therefore we will:

 

 acknowledge that we are called to serve one another, and that we are unique and equal in the eyes of God

 

   lead others by example and witness, to a deep faith commitment seek Christ in each person

 

   commit to the children’s whole growth within the total community

 

   assist each person to fully develop in a stable environment, while adjusting to an ever-changing world

 

   provide sound creative, enjoyable and challenging on-going education for staff, students and parents in the wider community

 

  strengthen our Catholic community of children, parents and teachers in which each person has a sense of belonging; the right to mutual respect, love, care, understanding and freedom to grow as a whole being

 

   work together in a just and fair manner to enable each person to fulfill his/her personal vocation in the Church and in society

 

   recognise and value the partnership between parent, teacher, child and Parish in providing a positive environment where (spiritual, social, emotional, physical, creative, academic, a broad and balanced curriculum and cultural) development takes place to each persons fullest potential

 

   provide a safe stimulating, aesthetically pleasing and functional environment in which resources are appropriate to students’ needs in each curriculum area.
