ST MARY’S SHOULD BE A PLACE WHERE:

¨      God’s presence is felt throughout the whole curriculum in both academic and social development.  It is a place where the children find in the Catholic faith, a sense of belonging and where will they learn to live out the values expressed in the Gospels.

¨      Our faith permeates our educational community to give each child the opportunity to maximise his/her potential spiritually, academically­, socially, emotionally and physically, enabling the child to become a more responsible member of society.

¨      We acknowledge that parents are the primary educators of the child and we welcome and encourage their continued participation­ in this.

¨      Faith is developed by communicating through prayer, liturgy, scripture, tradition and sacramental life, finding expression in service to one another.

¨  The value of each individual contributor is viewed with importance and respect in creating our school community, from the staff, parents, children, priests, parish workers, family and friends.

¨      The staff is committed to the ideals presented above and will be involved to the best of their ability.
